Chef & Sous Chef:

The chef and sous chef are the major roles in the kitchen! Being such, there will be plenty of hands-on management and opportunity to run a full-service kitchen!

  • Starting at $35k & $40k a year
  • Part time to full time: 20-45 hours a week
  • 2-3 years minimum experience necessary

Line Cook:

The position of line cook offers the opportunity to gain the experience and knowledge of a full-service kitchen! We provide in-house dining as well as takeout; being a line cook is crucial to the success of both.

  • Starting at $14.25 an hour + tips
    Part time: 20 hours a week
    1 year minimum experience necessary

Server and Bartender:

Our servers here at SMG work as a team! We offer the opportunity to grow as a person and learn the customer service side of a restaurant. Our servers also have the chance to gain the experience of bartending. We strive to create a positive work space and empower one another.

  • $12.45 an hour + tips
  • Part time: 20-44 hours a week
  • No experience necessary; however, it would be considered an asset

Takeout Co-ordinator:

While dine-in is an important aspect of our restaurant, so is takeout! Our takeout is what’s kept us going throughout lockdown periods. To our customers who mostly order takeout, the takeout co-ordinator is the face of SMG to them!

  • $14.25 an hour + tips
  • Part time: 20 hours a week
  • Smart Serve Certification is required
  • No experience necessary; however, it would be considered an asset
